About RAJKOV

Founded in 2001 by seven Rajasthani families in Melbourne, the Rajasthani Kutumb of Victoria (RAJKOV) celebrates traditional Rajasthani festivals like Teej and Gangaur. Officially incorporated in 2003, its founding members included the Jawale, Goyal, Manihar, Panwar, Sharma, and Soni families. Through annual general meetings, RAJKOV has consistently elected members to lead and uphold its mission, evolving from its initial focus on festival celebrations to a broader goal of preserving and promoting Rajasthani culture in Australia. Over the years, RAJKOV has seen a diverse and dedicated group of office bearers and committee members contributing to its growth and outreach, reflecting the community’s commitment to cultural heritage and community service.
